Love God! Love Children! This pretty much describes me. I have been a Christian for a long time, not always walking as I should, but always loving Jesus. I ran away from both teaching and missions for a long time, always having the ache in my heart to do them, though. God finally brought me to my senses and I spent 2 years in Brazil with YWAM and now teach whenever someone will let me.
How I found the Promise Tribe:
I followed my youth pastor.
What I'm Passionate About:
God, teaching, and dogs, in that order. I love God and the things of God and want the world and everyone in it to love God and the things of God. I want to teach the world to know God (not sing). I want to educate people to be able to find what they, deep inside, know, and that is Jesus is the only real joy. All else will fall into place eventually. About dogs, well, they just may be God's perfect creatures: unconditional love no matter what their stupid humans do to them. We humans could take lessons from them.
Books, Movies and Music I Love:
BIBLE,anything christian amish,ie Beverly Lewis, Christian historical fiction , ie Bodie Thoene, Cookbook, cooking magazines, recipe cards.
How I feel about Jesus:
I'm a committed follower of his
How I feel about church:
excited, committed

Hey Wendy... there is a lady that plays V-Ball w/ me & has for about 19 yrs. now. She lives right by The Promise. She would like to come to our church however her & her husband are both deaf. She asked me if there was anyone @ our church that does sign language & would translate for her. I told her I would ask around. I don't know if this would be too much for you or if are even interested in something like this. Please let me know. I understand if you will need to pass. Not sure how regular they are about attending church. Thanks for considering. Tribe me... Love, Gina
