my wife is jolynne. we have four kids: kyler, josie, ethan and ellie. i do mortgage loans for a living (patrion mortgage). I play guitar and a little bit of bass, drums, etc.
- How I found the Promise Tribe:
- about a year ago, after 8 years of study and pillow fighting with bolders (sounds frustrating, eh?) i burnt out on church. spent time worshiping at home with my family, visiting an anglican church in yucaipa, and playing nintendo with my sons. couldn't get away from the idea that jesus wants to make a unique people/tribe/family of followers and that i needed to connect with people like that. my sister jenni was hanging out at the promise, so we went. i've built a great friendship with eldon and started getting involved in the music, too.
recently I have been worshiping at st. alban's episcopal church in yucaipa, but I still consider eldon my good friend and the Promise Tribe is family.

I'm very passionate about theology, especially about the kingdom of God in our postmodern, western context.

I don't always agree, but the ideas these modern-day prophetic voices deserve your attention. Please give them a listen and share with me your thoughts.
